TNZ 2-DAY EVENT @ Royal/T
From now through August 23, Mollaspace presents “The Nonlife Zoo” pop up gallery at Royal/T—an imaginary visual of animal existence on earth. During this period, original art pieces portraying the history and concept behind “The Nonlife Zoo” will be showcased for the first time in the U.S. for public viewing.
To further celebrate our 3yr. anniversary and to raise awareness for animal preservation, on Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7, the pop up gallery will host two fanciful fun, food, and music events for party “animals.”
On Friday, August 6, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., adults are invited to dress like their favorite zoo animals and experience “A Night at the Jungle,” featuring cocktails, vegetarian tapas (f&b charged separately) and live music by DJ Daeldelus, an internationally known musical maestro. Tickets for the Friday night event are available online for $10 (www.brownpapertickets.com/event/122038) and at the door for $15. A special 3yr. anniversary cake will also be provided for free.
On Saturday, August 7, from noon to 4 p.m., families can enjoy “A Day at the Zoo,” with kid-centric activities, such as face painting, vegetarian small plates and drinks, animal-shaped cupcakes, in addition to a costumed tiger character who will give young guests rides in the Cartz Royale. Families are invited to enjoy “The Nonlife Zoo” and reflect on the coexistence of humans and animals in nature. The Saturday afternoon event is free (f&b excluded) and open to the public.
For additional information, guests can call Royal/T at 310.559.6300 or by visiting www.royal-t.org.
